On June 6, 2008 members and friends of Naval Lodge participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure which has raised a great deal of money and awarest in the battle against breast cancer. Secretary Brother Chris Lyons and Brother David VanBenschoten who served as project manager for Naval's participation in the race a few minutes prior to the start.
