Brethren,

It is my duty to inform you of the passing of WB Richard S Rankin. WB Rankin was a Mason for over 70 years and was master of Naval Lodge in 1984. WB Rankin was a steadfast pillar of Naval Lodge for many years and a crucial link to our history and traditions, sharing his experiences and stories at past master's nights each year. His generous spirit will be dearly missed. 

Naval Lodge will be conferring the appropriate funerary rites for our departed Worshipful Brother at the viewing on  8/15 at 6:00pm at the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home in Alexandria, VA (1500 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302). Please RSVP if you can attend and let the Master of Ceremonies, Br. Farrar (rcfarrar[at]gmail.com), know if you'd like to volunteer to participate in the rites.

The funeral service and burial  will be on Tuesday, 8/16 starting at 11am at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042). All are welcome to attend both events.
