Brethren,

On Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 2:00 - 3:00PM, the Council of the District of Columbia is hosting "A Celebration of Black History in the District." Naval Lodge is a sponsor of the event, so please come out and enjoy the event with our friends and neighbors to celebrate and pay homage to the significant contributions African-Americans have made to our nation's capitol and beyond.

The event will have performances by Blacks in Wax, musical selections from the Washington School for Girls, and Wilson High School.  A book discussion from the authors of “Chocolate City: A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation's Capitol" is also a marquee event.

Please plan to arrive early - You don't want to miss any of the amazing festivities!  All are welcome to participate.
