On Thursday, October 19th, Naval Lodge will host a screening of the new documentary, "Join or Die." In this feature documentary, follow the half-century story of America's civic unraveling through the journey of legendary social scientist Robert Putnam, whose groundbreaking "Bowling Alone" research into America's decades-long decline in community connections could hold the answers to our democracy's present crisis. Freemasonry is included in the discussion and Naval Lodge itself briefly appears in the film, so we are proud to showcase this important work to brethren. And after the screening, we will be joined by director Rebecca Davis for Q&A.

Due to the program's length, we will hold dinner from 6:00 to 7:00pm and begin the screening at 7:00pm. Our regular communication will open on Master Mason after the director Q&A, around 9:30pm. The actual meeting should be short because we have very limited business to discuss.
