We have received sad news of the loss of Brother Jose Juan Colon (raised '22) who passed away on January 3 at the age of 53. Brother Colon was an exemplary man, a 20+ year New York Police Department officer and precinct captain.  He regularly drove from New Jersey to DC to attend Communications at Naval and gave a First Responder's program with Bro Smith in 2022.

Brother Colon's family has requested a Masonic funeral and Naval Lodge No.4 is honored to respond.  All that is necessary to participate is a black suit and a Naval (or black) tie.  The Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia is assisting with the necessary protocols.  Several Brothers will be driving to Pennsylvania on Friday morning, so carpooling is available (please contact [email protected] to coordinate).  The memorial will be on January 12 at 11:00 AM at the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Telford, PA 18969.
